This is a one semester mandatory course in beginning music; it will be geared towards studying music theory, performance and appreciation. The students will be guided towards two significant elements of music which are rhythm and melody. It consists of a two period practical class and two one period class (theory) each week. It is therefore expected that each student after gaining the basic knowledge should choose an instrument to study and practice for the next school year whether it be that of the Stringed, Percussion, Brass Wind or WoodWind instruments.
